The Result

The scope expanded during construction to include upgraded carpet flooring with premium padding in the upstairs bedroom and closet areas, requiring subfloor preparation with plywood overlay. A custom built-in bookcase with shelving was added to maximize storage functionality in the new space. Additional aesthetic enhancements included painting the adjacent dining room to create a cohesive design flow between the newly opened areas. The project maintained focus on code compliance, quality craftsmanship, and creating an inviting connection between the home's living levels.
