Do you offer free estimates or consultations?
Yes, we do, but our approach is a little different than other companies. We start with a complimentary virtual discovery session where you’ll meet with a non-commissioned Project Developer. This is a no-pressure conversation focused on understanding your home, your goals, and the challenges you’re trying to solve. From there, we schedule an in-home visit to assess your space, take measurements, and gather the details needed to develop real solutions. Instead of a quick estimate, you’ll receive a thoughtful, fixed-cost proposal tailored to your home, budget, and vision. This process ensures you get accurate guidance and a clear path forward from the very beginning.
Will someone come to my home?
Yes. After your initial virtual discovery session, we schedule an in-home visit as part of the next step in the process. During this appointment, your Project Developer will assess your space, take measurements, and gather the details needed to develop the best solutions for your home. This visit ensures your proposal is accurate, thoughtful, and tailored specifically to your layout, goals, and budget.
How long does a typical project take?
Project timelines can vary depending on the scope, size, and complexity of the remodel. During your planning phase, your team will provide a detailed schedule so you know exactly what to expect. In general, smaller projects may take a few weeks, while larger renovations like kitchens, additions, or whole-home remodels can take several months. The advantage of MOSS’s design-build approach is that planning, scheduling, and construction are all aligned from the start, helping keep your project on track and minimizing delays.
What happens during the virtual discovery session?
Your virtual discovery session is a complimentary, no-pressure video call hosted via Microsoft Teams with a non-commissioned Project Developer. During this call, we’ll talk through your goals, your home, and any challenges you’re looking to solve. This is your opportunity to ask questions, explore ideas, and determine whether MOSS is the right fit for your project. We’ll also outline next steps and, if it makes sense to move forward, schedule an in-home visit to begin developing solutions tailored to your space, budget, and vision.
Do I need Microsoft Teams for my virtual discovery session?
No special setup is required. Your virtual discovery session is hosted via Microsoft Teams, and you can easily join from your web browser without downloading the app. If you prefer, you can also join from the Teams app on your computer or phone. Either way, we’ll provide a simple link ahead of time so it’s quick and easy to connect.
Can you help me determine what's possible in my space?
Absolutely. That’s a key part of our process. During your virtual discovery session and in-home visit, our team will evaluate your space, listen to your goals, and identify opportunities you may not have considered. Using MOSS 360, we create a visual, real-time view of your space so you can explore different layouts, materials, and design options alongside your team. This helps you clearly see what’s possible, make confident decisions, and move forward with a solution that fits your vision and budget.
