The Result

The addition was finished with James Hardie ColorPlus pre-finished lap siding in Cobblestone, energy-efficient vinyl windows with Low-E glass and argon gas, and a 30-year architectural shingle roof system. Interior finishes included custom tile work with specialty wall caps and thresholds cut by stone fabricators, luxury vinyl tile flooring extended from the mudroom into the kitchen, and recessed LED lighting throughout. A new high-efficiency heat pump system was installed to condition the new spaces, complete with properly designed ductwork, returns, and a programmable thermostat. The screened porch features a ceiling fan and coach lighting, while the bathroom showcases a custom glass shower enclosure, beveled medicine cabinet, and oil-rubbed bronze fixtures, creating an elegant retreat that complements the home's character.
