The Result

The scope extended beyond the addition to include remodeling of the existing living area, transforming it into the primary bedroom with updated lighting, fresh paint, and refinished hardwood flooring. Additional enhancements included the construction and installation of a custom field-built, stained wood handrail for the main-to-second-floor staircase, matching the home's existing design aesthetic. The project incorporated modern accessibility features throughout while maintaining the home's character, and included rough grading of the side yard around the addition to prepare for future landscaped stairs to the basement level. A dedicated ductless split HVAC system was installed to ensure optimal climate control in the new addition.
