The Result

The new primary bathroom features an expansive 5-foot by 5-foot tiled shower with accessibility grab bars, a 66-inch double vanity with dual sinks and medicine cabinets, new toilet, tiled flooring, and recessed lighting including waterproof fixtures in the shower. The adjacent walk-in closet provides generous storage with a 36-inch accessible doorway, hardwood flooring matched to the existing bedroom, and enhanced lighting. The project also included remodeling the existing living area into primary bedroom space, installation of a field-built stained wood handrail on the main-to-second-floor staircase, and rough grading of the side yard to accommodate future landscaping. Additional siding repairs were completed on the existing home, including replacement of damaged T1-11 panels with priming and painting to match, along with a new 36-inch exterior basement door and leveled concrete slab installation.
