The Result

The interior transformation included luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the first floor and refinished 2¼" red oak hardwood on the second floor, with heated floors installed in both master bedrooms, closets, and bathrooms. The living room received a dramatic upgrade with removal of the wood ceiling, installation of new drywall, and spray foam insulation for improved energy efficiency. Custom features included a striking black powder-coated steel staircase railing, mirror-slab pocket doors for bedroom closets, and telescoping attic access. The utility room was converted into a functional laundry space with new sink, cabinetry, and dedicated lighting. A complete HVAC system upgrade included a new high-efficiency heat pump serving the additions and second floor, complemented by a tankless Navien water heater. The project concluded with comprehensive painting throughout both floors, upgraded insulation including closed-cell foam in cantilevers, and exterior enhancements including fir porch ceiling with edge bead detailing and custom rain chain drainage systems.
