Valor Court Home Addition

MOSS Building & Design completed a comprehensive home addition and renovation project in Annandale, VA, featuring a multi-level expansion that included both a new ground-floor addition and extensive basement remodeling. The project centered around a 9'x16' addition with concrete foundation, footings, and walls, topped with a flat roof system featuring a 1/4" slope and Duradek walkable membrane with perimeter railing. The addition was fully integrated with the existing structure through custom framing, matching siding, and professional insulation including closed cell spray foam and batt insulation. The basement underwent a complete transformation with the removal of a load-bearing wall replaced by an engineered steel beam and column system, new 2x4 framing throughout, and the addition of a full bathroom with complete plumbing rough-in and trim work.
