Treadwell Lane Home Addition

MOSS Building & Design completed a comprehensive home addition and kitchen renovation project in Oak Hill, VA. The project involved structural modifications to accommodate a second-floor addition, including reinforcement of existing floor joists through sistering techniques in both the kitchen and family room areas. This work required strategic removal and replacement of drywall, along with careful coordination of electrical and plumbing relocations. The kitchen was transformed with new custom cabinetry, premium countertops, and designer tile work throughout. High-quality Pella windows and doors were installed, including a striking triple-window configuration with casement flanking windows and a full-glass inswing door to enhance natural light and access. The project featured modern under-cabinet lighting with integrated wiring and switches, creating both functional task lighting and ambient illumination. Hardwood flooring was extended into adjacent spaces, tying the new addition seamlessly into the existing home. Throughout the construction process, meticulous attention was paid to protecting existing finishes and coordinating with utility services to ensure uninterrupted service.
