The Challenge
MOSS Building & Design completed a comprehensive kitchen remodeling project in Annandale, VA, transforming the kitchen, butler area, and laundry room into a cohesive, functional space. The project involved removing existing soffits, cabinetry, and two windows, as well as reconfiguring walls and expanding the coat closet opening. A custom niche was framed into the kitchen wall, the knee wall was extended per the approved design, and a ductwork chase was created in the laundry room to accommodate proper ventilation for the new exhaust hood. The scope included complete rough-in plumbing for a kitchen sink with Kohler Bellera pull-down faucet, dishwasher, disposal with counter-mounted air switch, refrigerator, and gas range with venting. New PEX plumbing lines were integrated throughout, and a utility sink with faucet was installed in the laundry room.
