The Vision Behind This Project
The Challenge
This whole-home refresh centered on a complete kitchen transformation and a cohesive first-floor renovation that together reimagined how the home looks, flows, and functions. In the kitchen, MOSS removed the existing cabinets, countertops, island, and pantry to open the canvas for an entirely new layout.

Kitchen The kitchen strikes a balance between purposeful storage and refined detail. Cabinetry was selected and configured as shown in the approved design presentation, with the final layout refined during construction to include a single drawer with heavy-duty slides, an adjustable shelf, a finished blind end, and a 50-quart trash can pull-out — thoughtful upgrades that elevate everyday function. The sink is a Kraus Kore 32" undermount single-basin model (KWU110-32), paired with a Moen Kurv faucet and coordinating soap dispenser in spot resist stainless (9126EVSRS and MS3947SRS). An InSinkErator Badger 1/2 HP garbage disposal completes the sink station. Countertops were sourced directly by the homeowner, allowing for a fully personalized selection. The backsplash tile — chosen from the approved tile presentation — introduces an upgraded material in an elevated pattern that anchors the room's design.
Living Room & Entry Drawing from the approved interior finishes presentation, the living room was designed around a refined fireplace elevation that serves as the room's focal point. Trim detailing throughout follows the approved trim presentation, with entry-side trim transitions into both the living and dining rooms handled as a unified design moment — creating visual continuity as you move through the first floor.
First Floor — Trim, Wainscoting & Paint Consistency across the first floor was achieved through a coordinated approach to millwork and paint. Base moulding and window casing profiles were selected to complement the home's architecture, with door and window casement moulding specified as a cohesive system throughout. Wainscoting, drawn from the approved wainscot presentation, adds depth and character to the spaces where it appears. Paint selections, applied across all first-floor rooms after thorough prep and priming, tie the full renovation together with a clean, finished result.
