The Challenge
MOSS transformed the Murray home's underutilized basement into a fully finished, multi-functional living space — beginning with a thorough demolition that cleared away dated wall paneling, popcorn ceilings, ceiling fans, an existing bar and shelving unit, and a wing wall that had long constrained the layout. In their place, MOSS introduced a thoughtfully reconfigured floor plan: a new framed wall carves out a dedicated workout and office area served by a pair of pocket doors, while an open mudroom tree near the sliding glass door provides organized storage for coats, shoes, and everyday accessories. Fresh drywall throughout, smooth-finished ceilings, and twelve new recessed lights give the entire level a clean, contemporary foundation.

Powder Room A full renovation gave the powder room an entirely fresh identity. Underfoot, LVT 101068203 luxury vinyl plank flooring — selected for its durability and design continuity — runs wall to wall across the entire level. Twelve recessed lights provide layered, even illumination, with a dimmer added at the main light switch near the bench for flexible ambiance control.
