The Vision Behind This Project
The Challenge
The Golf View Court project centered on a comprehensive basement transformation, converting an underutilized lower level into a polished, fully finished living space complete with a wet bar, a powder room, an office and library, and a generous main gathering area. MOSS handled the full scope of structural and mechanical work — from new footings and concrete slab to framing, insulation brought up to current code, and all-new electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems — ensuring the space was built to last from the ground up. New windows and exterior doors, overhead doors, and a masonry fireplace with custom trim work rounded out the structural envelope, while interior finishes including hardwood and luxury vinyl tile flooring, tile work, custom cabinetry, and fresh paint brought the design vision to life throughout every room.

Basement Wet Bar The wet bar anchors the main living area with a purposeful mix of function and finish. Custom cabinetry is appointed with Top Knobs TK3152HB cabinet pulls in a hand-applied bronze tone, lending a warm, artisanal quality to the millwork. The bar sink — a Ferguson-sourced HU101-24L — pairs with a Kohler K-28357-2MB faucet in matte black, a combination that reads as both hardworking and refined. A dedicated beverage refrigerator (PRB24C01CG) keeps the space party-ready, while a custom countertop completes the surface. Overhead, a Ferguson LD7314W32BRA pendant in brushed brass casts the bar in a warm, inviting glow.
Powder Room The powder room was designed as a complete, cohesive suite of fixtures rather than an afterthought. A Tilebar vanity grounds the space, topped with a coordinating sink and finished with a Delta 15749LF-CZ single-hole faucet in champagne bronze — a finish that carries through to the matching 74208-CZ towel bar and 74250-CZ toilet paper holder for a unified look. The Kohler K-31620-0 toilet is paired with a Kohler K-4636-RL-0 seat, and a Kohler K-26051-BGL mirror in brushed gold adds a touch of warmth above the vanity. A Panasonic FV-0511VF1 ventilation fan keeps the space fresh and quiet. The room is lit by a Ferguson 55183CPZ vanity light in polished nickel, providing clean, flattering illumination.
Flooring Luxury vinyl tile in style 101068203 runs through the basement's main areas, offering durability underfoot without sacrificing the warmth of a finished floor.
Office and Library The built-in bookshelves and cabinetry in the office and library were painted to a custom specification, giving the room a tailored, furniture-quality feel that anchors the space as a true reading retreat.
