The Result

The outdoor living expansion featured the construction of an approximately 20' x 14' screened porch built atop an existing deck structure. This addition required structural reinforcement including beam replacement, new ledger attachment, and code-compliant support systems. The screened porch was finished with AZEK tongue-and-groove decking, vinyl beadboard ceiling, recessed lighting, and provisions for a ceiling fan and heating elements. The project also included rebuilding the deck stairs and landing with composite materials, installing Trex railing systems, and replacing the existing patio door with a new vinyl sliding door to provide seamless access to the new outdoor living space.
