Kitchen
Designed to balance timeless elegance with everyday practicality, this McLean kitchen remodel brings together a carefully considered palette of materials that feel both refined and livable. Custom cabinetry in the Hampshire Stonebridge Somerset door style sets the tone, with crisp White Paint on the perimeter cabinets and a deeper Rockface Paint on the island — a two-tone approach that grounds the space and gives the island a sense of intentional presence. Overhead and underfoot, the design holds its own: MSI Q Premium Natural Quartz in Calacatta Laza brings the luminous veining of marble to the countertops with the added resilience of engineered stone, while existing hardwood floors were refinished to flow seamlessly from the kitchen into the surrounding living areas.
At the backsplash, Crystal Glass Feather 3x12 glass subway tiles introduce a subtle shimmer and contemporary edge, their lustrous surface set with Mapei Flexcolor 3D grout in Star Dust for a finish that catches the light without competing with the cabinetry. At the sink, a Sterling Cinch undermount basin pairs with a Kohler Fairfax faucet in polished chrome — a clean, classic combination that suits the kitchen's overall sensibility. An InSinkErator Badger 3/4 HP garbage disposal rounds out the workspace, keeping function quietly in step with the beauty of the finished design.
