Kitchen
Designed to balance the warmth of natural wood with the clean precision of a thoughtfully planned workspace, this Leesburg kitchen remodel centers on semi-custom all-plywood cabinetry finished in a custom stained and painted palette, with full-overlay doors and soft-close drawers and doors throughout. Custom White Oak open cubbie sections and a matching island bring an organic, textural contrast to the cabinetry, grounding the space with material depth that feels both current and enduring. An apron front workstation sink — complete with disposal and air switch — anchors the perimeter, while upgraded countertop surfaces and a ceramic and porcelain tile backsplash in a custom pattern layer in visual interest from countertop to wall cabinet and carry through into the breakfast room's repurposed cabinetry for a seamless, cohesive finish.
Underfoot, 3-inch Mullican Muirfield MLC14730 prefinished hardwood flooring adds warmth and continuity, its narrow profile lending a classic sensibility that complements the kitchen's mix of custom and natural materials. Three custom Maple shelves with adjustment clips integrate into existing cabinet sections, offering both flexibility and a refined built-in feel. The owner-supplied appliance suite — including a refrigerator, beverage refrigerator, double wall oven, dishwasher, microwave, and gas cooktop — is thoughtfully accommodated within the layout. The lighting scheme brings it all together: twelve LED recessed lights on dimmer controls, LED tape under-cabinet lighting for task-ready ambiance, and pendant fixtures that punctuate the space with a finishing touch of character and warmth.
