The Result

The exterior finishes featured premium materials including 3/4-inch straight cut stone veneer covering the floor, stairs, and knee walls to match the home's existing front porch aesthetic, topped with bluestone caps. Eight fixed Velux skylights were installed in the porch roof to maximize natural light. The structure was enclosed with fiberglass screening and featured composite trim wrapping posts and beams, custom-built composite bookcases, and beadboard ceiling treatment between rafters. The existing home's exterior walls within the porch footprint were refinished with James Hardie Arctic White board and batten siding. Additional site work included modification of existing metal railings, installation of new black aluminum railing systems for stairs, and adjustment of existing patio pavers and pool deck as required.
