Harmony Drive Project

MOSS Building & Design completed a comprehensive structural remediation project for a residential property in Vienna, VA. The project addressed critical foundation and floor system failures, involving the removal and replacement of compromised floor joists and the installation of new structural support systems. Our team excavated and installed new footings with support posts, integrated engineered LVL beams, and replaced damaged floor joists to restore structural integrity. Additional work included re-securing existing HVAC ductwork displaced by the failing structural components, replacing insulation and vapor barriers in affected areas, and applying a protective parging skim coat to the rear block foundation wall beneath the screened porch. All work was performed in compliance with local building codes and permit requirements, ensuring the long-term stability and safety of the home's foundation and floor system.
