This comprehensive main-level renovation in Oak Hill, VA transformed the kitchen, family room, dining room, and laundry room while adding a stunning covered porch and deck to expand the outdoor living space. The project involved removing interior walls between the kitchen, dining room, and breakfast nook to create an open-concept floor plan, raising the sunken family room floor to match the main level, and reconfiguring the laundry room and coat closet. The kitchen was completely gutted and rebuilt with new cabinetry, countertops, a farmhouse sink, custom wood hood detail, under-cabinet lighting, and all new appliances. The family room fireplace received a new mantle and surround, while the laundry room was enhanced with custom built-ins and wood countertops.
