The Result

The design showcases exceptional custom millwork, including field-fabricated built-ins beneath the main stairwell and a bookcase recessed into the unfinished area. The living room features upgraded walnut-stained maple floating shelves with integrated lighting, plywood-skinned built-ins, and inset panel doors on the gym-side storage. The fireplace wall makes a striking statement with White Oak honed ledger stone panels (6x24 with 6x18 corners) from Rockmount. The laundry room was transformed into a highly functional space with custom Hampshire cabinetry featuring pull-outs and a full-depth upper cabinet, quartzite countertops with leather finish and eased edge detail, honed Calacatta marble herringbone tile (2.75x5.5"), a new sewage ejector pump system, relocated washer/dryer connections with utility sink, dedicated wine fridge circuit, telescoping drying rack, and custom 12-inch deep boxed shelving at the sink wall.
