Kitchens have long been regarded as the central gathering place for families, but, for years, in more of a utilitarian sense. For the past 20 to 30 years, though, homeowners have begun regarding their kitchens as more than just the place to cook and serve meals.
The kitchen is often considered the centerpiece of a home, acting as a gathering place for family and friends for meals, holidays or get togethers, yet also commonly serves as a functional space that allows for entertaining and everyday comfort.
